Job summary

RRECRUITER PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on Electrical Engineer to execute detailed electrical engineering design on site, covering load calculations, cable sizing, and coordination with subcontractors.

You will review schematics, perform transient analyses, manage procurement technicalities, and ensure compliance with latest codes; a Bachelor's in Electrical/Electronics and proficiency in AutoCAD are required.

Qualifications

Must have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
Experience in electrical detail engineering and site execution is advantageous.
Strong ability to read electrical schematics and use AutoCAD and MS Office.

Responsibilities

Execute detailed electrical engineering design, including load calculations (HT/LV), cable and sub-board sizing, short circuit analysis, motor acceleration, and relay protection coordination.
Conduct specialized engineering studies such as transient load analysis, hazard area classification, and structural layout design.
Handle procurement technicalities, including material take-offs (MTO), Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE), and vendor material reviews.
Manage site resources, monitoring the distribution and performance of manpower, machinery, materials, and subcontractors.
Oversee site installations, testing, and commissioning to guarantee alignment with technical specifications, quality standards, and latest codes of practice.
Evaluate progress claims for subcontractors, track overall site progress, and represent the trade in client technical and coordination meetings.
Compile and deliver Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals upon successful project completion.
