Job summary
JDA WMS Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an Electrical Engineer to handle electrical design and on-site execution for construction projects, from drawings and load calculations through to installation, testing and commissioning.
The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, hands-on experience with panels, transformers, cabling and earthing, and proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit MEP with knowledge of NEC/IEC codes. Site work will be required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
- Experience in both design and site execution within construction.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit MEP and NEC/IEC codes.
- Hands-on experience with panels, transformers, cabling and earthing.
- Strong coordination and ability to read technical drawings.
- Willing to work at site locations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare electrical drawings, SLDs, load calculations, and BOQs.
- Design LV/HV systems including panels, lighting, and power distribution.
- Coordinate with architects and MEP consultants for design integration.
- Supervise site installation and ensure drawings are followed.
- Oversee testing, commissioning and quality checks.
- Prepare progress reports and as-built drawings.
