Job description

Our esteemed client in the Engineering Industry is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join their dynamic team:

• Employment Type: Permanent
• Position: Electrical Project Engineer
• Location: Kaki Bukit
• Working Hours: 5.25 days (Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm; Alternate Saturday, 9am to 1pm)
• Salary Package: Up to $5,000 + Incentives + Variable Bonus

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop project timelines, plans, and budget baselines.
• Lead the preparation of technical drawings, schematics, and detailed specifications for electrical installations.
• Coordinate project resources, schedules, and expenditure to ensure delivery within agreed cost and time targets.
• Carry out feasibility and cost-benefit reviews to confirm project practicality and commercial soundness.
• Supervise on-site installation, testing, and commissioning activities for electrical and related systems.
• Investigate, diagnose, and rectify technical faults that arise during design, construction, or operation.
• Verify that all work complies with applicable safety codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise regularly with clients, consultants, vendors, and internal teams to provide progress updates and manage expectations.
• Offer technical mentorship and day-to-day guidance to project engineers and site personnel.
• Perform additional assignments or responsibilities as delegated by the management.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum a Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in electrical work.
• Proficient in electrical systems and components.
• Familiar with AutoCAD or similar design software, and able to interpret technical drawings.
• Able to start immediately or in short notice.
