Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in PLC programming and hands-on electrical wiring.
- Proficiency in PLC platforms such as Siemens S7, Allen-Bradley, or Schneider Electric.
- Experience with SCADA/HMI development is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and programming PLC systems for industrial automation and control machinery.
- Create detailed electrical schematics and circuit diagrams using industry-standard PLC software tools.
- Conduct system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Collaborate with project managers, technicians, and clients to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
- Maintain and upgrade existing PLC systems, ensuring minimal downtime and continuous operational reliability.
- Provide technical support and training to operational staff on PLC systems.
- Install electrical wiring from main control box to machine before PLC setup.
- Document all work processes, system configurations, and technical specifications for future reference.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant electrical safety standards and industry regulations.
