Job Summary:
The EE Engineer, Electrical & Electronics (Electronics) works as a development engineer for our proprietary line of automation solutions. The successful candidate should have a basic knowledge of electrical and electronic engineering, good analytical skills, passion for robotic automation and enjoy working with cross functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed electrical layout and schematic drawings for the system and its sub-assemblies.
Assist in assembly and wiring of electrical/electronic parts of the automation projects.
Prepare complete Bill of Materials for the electrical system of all automation related projects.
Work with Production Engineers and vendors during system assembly, wiring and testing.
Train/Supervise electrical technician/contractors in good wiring practices.
Support system testing and qualification.
Contribute to product cost reduction efforts.
Ensure electrical drawings are up to date.
Project planning and management.
Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
Degree / Diploma in Electrical / Electronic Engineering.
Minimum three years’ experience (five years for diploma holders) in assembly and wiring of electrical systems, preferably in automation or robotics.
Experience in preparing and documenting PCB designs, electrical diagrams and schematics.
Hands on experience in assembling electrical systems, control panels, motor and driver assemblies.
Experience in testing and programming in Servo Tuning and PLC control is desirable.
Working experience with typical machine control hardware like power supplies, motors, sensors, motion and I/O devices.
Proven troubleshooting skills for electrical systems.
Good problem-solving skills backed by conceptual and analytical thinking and systematic approach.
