About the Role:

As a Plant Engineer (Electrical), you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the plant’s electrical systems. Working closely with senior engineers, you’ll assist in routine maintenance, monitor equipment performance, and contribute to energy optimization projects—while learning and growing in a structured, supportive environment.

  • Location: Jurong Island, Singapore (Company Transport Provided)
  • Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:45 p.m.
  • Salary Range: SGD 3,500 to SGD 5,000 per month

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Manage and develop the electrical equipment replacement schedule.
  • Perform detailed root cause analyses for complex equipment failures and prepare comprehensive reports.
  • Recommend and implement equipment modifications to improve performance and safety.
  • Oversee scheduled maintenance activities and respond swiftly to urgent issues.
  • Develop, review, and refine SOPs to drive energy conservation and cost reduction.
  • Ensure all electrical systems meet stringent safety and regulatory standards.
  • Manage preventive maintenance tasks, including annual substation shutdowns.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues, manage inventory, and provide insights during risk assessments.
  • Supervise contractor work, negotiate service proposals, and monitor performance to ensure timely, budget-compliant project completion.
  • Oversee project budgets and raw material expenditure to maximize cost efficiency.
  • Evaluate vendor contracts and conduct performance audits to uphold high service standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and resolve equipment challenges.

  • Educational Background: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 3 years in a chemical plant environment.
