Job description

Job scope:

• Carry out maintenance of machineries, equipment and plant facilities to ensure operability and functionality.

• Perform the required preventive and maintenance jobs as stipulated in the Machine Maintenance Check List.

• Participate and contribute in improvement activities with regard to HSEQ.

• Coordinate and manage contractors in performing their tasks safely and meeting our requirement

• Maintain proper maintenance documentation and be accountable for the up-keeping, controlling and updating of spare parts

• To assist superior to complete work orders properly & precisely upon completion of work assigned

• To execute superior’s guidance compliance with company policy, rules, guidelines as well as Singapore’s regulations

• Actively participate and involve in appropriate development of HSE matters in areas of hazard / incident identifications, risk assessments and determination of controls

• Ensure work activities and behaviour achieved conformity to the HSE policy, objectives and procedures outlined in the HSE management system and compliance to applicable local legal requirements

• In addition to these duties/responsibilities employees are required to carry out such duties as may reasonably be required

Job Requirements:

• Minimum ‘O’ Level or ITE in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

• 3 years related maintenance experience within heavy machining production environment.

• Machine maintenance /repairing (electro -mechanical level) knowledge

• Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines

• Analytical and creative approach to problem solving

• Ability to communicate effectively on all levels with good management and leadership skills

• Ability to work under owns initiative with minimal supervision

• Recognized Forklift driving license is a plus.
