Job summary

PUB Public Utilities Board - SGP is seeking an experienced electrical maintenance professional to plan, supervise, and execute maintenance on electrical systems at water reclamation facilities. The role requires leading technicians and contractors, ensuring safety standards, and coordinating with multiple teams.

The position involves preparing maintenance plans and budgets, managing spares and inventory, and overseeing service reports for accuracy and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronics / Electrical Engineering or relevant engineering degree.
• Hands-on experience in administration, servicing and maintaining electrical systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage comprehensive electrical equipment maintenance programmes, monitor progress, and adjust plans as required.
• Supervise staff and contractors in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and rectifying electrical faults.
• Ensure safety by applying PTWs, conducting inspections, and reviewing RAs and SWPs.
• Perform routine HV and LV circuit-breaker switching as an authorised officer.
• Prepare maintenance plans and budgets, procure spares, and monitor inventory.
• Prepare specifications, scopes of work, cost estimates, and call tenders for maintenance.
• Maintain maintenance records and update weekly, monthly and quarterly reports.
• Coordinate with other sections and contractors on maintenance matters.
• Procure works and materials through ACE and AMS systems, raise POs/WOs/job cards/plans.
• Review service reports for accuracy and audit readiness before processing payments.
• Participate in site safety inspections and toolbox talks; prepare safety documents and permits.
• Respond to emergency calls and work outside office hours when needed.
