Job description

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and coordinate daily, ad-hoc, and shutdown maintenance activities to ensure safety, cost-efficiency, and timely execution.

  • Lead and mentor a team of senior technicians and superintendents in plant maintenance operations.

  • Review, develop, and improve maintenance plans, procedures, and work instructions, including documentation for audits and ISO compliance.

  • Support predictive and preventive maintenance activities by analyzing data from critical electrical and instrumentation equipment.

  • Provide prompt technical support to production and engineering teams; lead root cause investigations and troubleshoot complex equipment issues.

  • Take ownership of minor modification and improvement projects involving E&I systems.

  • Oversee and coordinate plant shutdown maintenance activities, including statutory inspections.

  • Conduct in-house technical briefings and toolbox talks to enhance operational knowledge across teams.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to drive continuous improvement projects and optimize reliability across the site.

Requirements:
  • Degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or related Engineering field.

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in plant maintenance within a chemical, petrochemical, or pharmaceutical industry.

  • Solid understanding of plant E&I systems.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical and instrumentation systems.
