Job summary

Hotel Grand Pacific in Singapore is seeking an Electrical & Maintenance Technician to oversee electrical system maintenance, assign resources for inspections, testing and repairs, and ensure safety compliance with WSH and EMS guidelines.

The role requires an ITE certificate, at least 2 years of experience, ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and public holidays, strong communication, teamwork, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• ITE Certificate in Electrical & Electronics or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Electrical system maintenance.
• Assign responsibilities and resources for inspection, testing, repair and predictive maintenance of equipment and systems.
• Maintenance of air-conditioning systems as well as refrigerator systems etc.
• Recommend repair works and solutions to address equipment and system failures.
• Structure maintenance, care of department tools, supplies and equipment etc.
• Conduct root cause analysis of failures and malfunctions.
• Ensure compliance with Hotel’s Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) and Environmental Management System (EMS) guidelines.
• Conduct WSH and EMS accidents and incidents investigations.
• Develop and review operational plans and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) periodically.
• Ensure rules, regulations and guidelines are adhered.
• Other ad-hoc duties and responsibilities as and when assigned.
