NEXUS MANAGEMENT SERVICES PTE. LTD. is seeking an Electrical Engineer (Solar/Aircon) for a Kallang based role in Singapore.

The position is full time, 5.5 day week, and open to Singaporeans only. The candidate will design, install, test, and maintain electrical systems for solar PV and air-conditioning projects, while coordinating with clients and contractors. Responsibilities include site inspections, drawings, load calculations, and overseeing installation works to ensure safety and compliance

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering is required or equivalent.
• Experience with solar PV and HVAC electrical works is essential.
• Experience in solar PV installation, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
• Willingness to travel to different project sites as required.

Location: Kallang

Electrical Engineering Responsibilities

• Design, install, test, commission and maintain electrical systems for solar PV and air-conditioning projects.
• Conduct site inspections and assess electrical requirements for new and existing installations.
• Prepare and review electrical drawings, schematics, single-line diagrams and technical specifications.
• Perform electrical load calculations and equipment selection.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers to ensure projects are completed according to requirements and schedule.
• Supervise site installation works and ensure workmanship meets the required standards.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Ensure all electrical works comply with applicable Singapore safety requirements and regulations.

SOLAR PANEL / PV SYSTEMS

• Conduct site surveys and assess suitable locations for solar panel installation.
• Plan and coordinate the installation of solar panels, mounting systems, inverters, DC/AC cabling and related electrical equipment.
• Assist with solar PV system sizing, electrical load calculations and equipment selection.
• Supervise solar panel installation and electrical connection works.
• Perform testing, commissioning and troubleshooting of solar PV systems.
• Monitor system performance and identify faults or abnormal operating conditions.
• Coordinate maintenance and repair works for solar PV systems.
• Prepare testing, commissioning and maintenance reports.

AIR-CONDITIONING / HVAC SYSTEMS

• Plan and coordinate electrical works for air-conditioning and HVAC systems.
• Review power requirements and electrical loads for air-conditioning equipment.
• Coordinate installation of power supplies, isolators, control wiring and electrical connections.
• Supervise electrical installation works for air-conditioning systems.
• Perform testing, commissioning and troubleshooting of electrical components associated with air-conditioning systems.
• Assist in diagnosing electrical faults and coordinating repair and maintenance works.
• Coordinate with air-conditioning technicians and contractors to ensure proper integration of electrical and HVAC systems.

PROJECT & SITE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise contractors and site workers and monitor daily site activities.
• Ensure projects are completed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and schedules.
• Monitor materials, equipment and manpower requirements.
• Attend site meetings and provide technical support and progress updates.
• Prepare quotations, material specifications and technical documentation where required.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and safe working conditions at project sites.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Relevant hands-on experience in both solar panel / solar PV systems and air-conditioning / HVAC electrical works.
• Experience in solar PV installation, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Experience in electrical works related to air-conditioning systems.
• Able to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics.
• Good knowledge of electrical safety and workplace safety requirements.
• Able to supervise contractors and coordinate site works.
• Willing to travel to different project sites as required.

Working Period:

• Monday to Friday - 8am to 5pm
• Saturday – 8am to 12pm

Basic Salary:

$3800 to $4,500 per month
