Job summary

Recruit Now Singapore Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support planning and execution of industrial electrical installation projects. You will coordinate stakeholders and ensure works meet technical, quality and safety requirements.

You will work on HT/LT switchboards, transformers, generators, motor starters, testing and commissioning, with exposure to project documentation, schedules and reporting. Salary is competitive with a variable bonus available.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in electrical installation in industrial plants.
• Entry-level candidates with relevant diploma/degree are welcome.
• Knowledge of HT/LT switchboards, transformers, generators, and testing/commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit engineering drawings, catalogues, and project docs.
• Assist PM and Senior Engineer with vendor submissions.
• Prepare project schedules, BOMs, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and teams.
• Attend progress meetings and share updates across teams.
• Monitor installation progress and conduct safety inspections.
• Develop method statements and testing procedures.
• Inspect installations and support testing/commissioning.
• Prepare technical reports and maintain records.

Our Client, a mechanical and electrical engineering company in Singapore that offers supply and installation of equipment, is inviting qualified candidates to fill the position as Electrical Engineer.

You will be responsible for supporting the planning and execution of industrial electrical installation projects, coordinating stakeholders and ensuring works meet technical, quality and safety requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare, check and submit engineering drawings, catalogues, calculations and project documentation.




• Assist the Project Manager and Senior Engineer with vendor approval submissions.




• Prepare and update project schedules, bills of materials and engineering deliverables.




• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal project teams to ensure timely project execution.




• Attend project progress and technical meetings, and communicate updates across engineering, construction and project control teams.




• Monitor installation progress and conduct quality inspections to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications and safety standards.




• Develop method statements and testing procedures for electrical works.




• Inspect installations and support testing and commissioning activities.




• Prepare technical reports and maintain project records.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering.




• 3 years of working experience in electrical installation in industrial plants




• Entry-level with a Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering are welcomed to apply




• Technical knowledge of HT/LT switchboards, transformers, generators, motor starters, testing and commissioning.




• Familiarity with relevant Singapore and international electrical standards.

• Salary: Up to $5,200 Basic (salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications)
