Electrical Engineer (Automation / Machinery / Marine / West)

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure operational readiness of machinery and equipment.

2. Lead and guide the team in preparing operating procedures and reviews.

3. Coordinate with Operations and Engineering teams for preventive and corrective maintenance (PM/CM).

4. Work with the Training Manager on training and competency development.

5. Support PM/CM activities in the yard or during cross-deployment, if needed.

6. Monitor machinery and equipment daily, providing guidance to the team.

7. Plan and coordinate with the Operations department.

8. Troubleshoot issues and processes, both routine and during breakdowns.

9. Optimize processes, equipment, and machinery; identify areas to improve operational effectiveness.

10. Lead root cause analysis (RCA) on process incidents, recommend corrective actions, and follow up to close issues.

11. Assist in implementing safety directives and preparing reports.

Requirements:

1. Degree in Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience.

2. Experience with PLC/SCADA/HMI.

3. Familiarity with Automation and Control Engineering.

4. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

5. Good team player with strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
