Job summary

GOOD RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking an Electrical Designer to join a shipbuilding‑focused engineering team in Singapore.

The role coordinates engineers and electricians to design, verify, and deliver electrical systems across new builds, repairs, and improvements. You will manage design specs, interface with vendors, ensure on-time, on-budget delivery, and uphold safety and regulatory requirements. Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical, or similar disciplines.
• Understanding of ships systems and able to interpret engineering drawings.
• Knowledge in use of MS Office, AutoCAD.
• Passion for quality work and desire for improvement.

Responsibilities

• Work with project engineers to define electrical & electronics system design specifications.
• Validate electrical designs and technical data for ship systems.
• Manage external vendors and contractors to deliver systems that meet design specifications and regulatory regulations.
• Responsible for on time, on budget, delivery of electrical systems.
• Provide guidance to ensure commissioning of vessel systems are completed on time.
• Ensuring the quality of deliverables are met.
• Adhering with approved company processes.
• Continually seek to identify & minimize areas of risk and/or waste.
• Provide technical and design expertise.
• Understanding of Class and Flag requirements.
• Ensure OHS&E policies & guidelines are adhered to.
