A leading company is seeking an Electrical Engineer to perform designs for onshore and offshore oil and gas facilities. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 3 years' experience with electrical distribution systems. Perform electrical engineering design for onshore and/or offshore oil and gas facilities.
Responsible for studies, designs, specifications, and services related to MV (11kV)/LV (690/400V) switchgear, distribution systems, etc.
Have detailed design experience on onshore and/or offshore MV (11kV) and LV (690/400V) systems/ancillaries, including transformers, etc.
Have engineering database experience, i.e., SmartPlant/SPEL, AVEVA, developing load lists, cable schedules, control schematics, etc., from the database.
Utilize engineering databases to produce load lists, cable schedules, etc.
Work with a team of specialized Electrical Engineers/Designers for complete detailed design.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering
Minimum 3 years of experience with electrical design involving onshore and/or offshore electrical power and distribution systems.
Familiarity with global electrical codes, standards, and regulations, i.e., IEC/BSI, etc.
Knowledge of electrical systems for assessment/compliance studies and reports.
Good understanding of electrical system design.
Able to work independently.
