Job description

About the role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Electrical Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the equipment, machinery, and systems that support our batching plant operations. Your work will play a key role in ensuring smooth, efficient, and reliable day-to-day operations.

What you will be working on:

• Inspect and organise batching plants, motors, electrical systems (LV), CCTV, and other equipment for preventive maintenance and repairs

• Ensure that all machinery and products meet compliance regulations

• Analyse problems or deficiencies and develop effective solutions to resolve them

• Create and review technical drawings, plans, and specifications

• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, and work with vendors and contractors

• Maintain detailed documentation to track project development and design process

• Ensure project timelines are met and the project stays within budget

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field

• At least 1 year of relevant working experience

• Firm grasp of engineering concepts and hands-on experience in designing electrical systems (LV), CCTV system, batching system and products

• Excellent math skills: the ability to apply advanced electrical and mechanical principles and statistics to solve problems

• Experience using AutoCAD or similar

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

• Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability

• Ability to communicate effectively and clearly

• Must be self-motivated and a great team worker

• Possess a Class 3 driving license

• Must be willing to work night shifts, including overtime and weekend duties as required.
