Key Responsibilities:
- Design electrical systems and components for [residential/commercial/industrial] projects.
- Develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layouts using CAD software.
- Conduct feasibility studies, cost estimates, and technical reports.
- Ensure that designs comply with applicable codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, project managers, and construction personnel.
- Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and recommend solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies, standards, and best practices in electrical engineering.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus or willingness to obtain.
- Proven experience (X+ years) in electrical design and engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other electrical design software.
- Strong understanding of National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills (optional):
- Experience with PLC programming and control systems.
- Knowledge of renewable energy systems, such as solar or wind.
- Project management experience or certifications (e.g., PMP).
