Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Design electrical systems and components for [residential/commercial/industrial] projects.
• Develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layouts using CAD software.
• Conduct feasibility studies, cost estimates, and technical reports.
• Ensure that designs comply with applicable codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, project managers, and construction personnel.
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and recommend solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies, standards, and best practices in electrical engineering.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus or willingness to obtain.
• Proven experience (X+ years) in electrical design and engineering.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other electrical design software.
• Strong understanding of National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills (optional):

• Experience with PLC programming and control systems.
• Knowledge of renewable energy systems, such as solar or wind.
• Project management experience or certifications (e.g., PMP).
