Job summary

NIVABIZ PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Electrical / Electronics Engineer (EE) with strong PCBA design experience to support a 1-year contract in Singapore.

The role covers electronic hardware and PCBA design, development, testing, troubleshooting and product engineering across the full product lifecycle. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability and reliability.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• Hands-on experience in electronics hardware and PCBA design/development.
• Knowledge of schematic capture and component selection.
• Experience with analog and/or digital circuit design.
• Familiarity with PCB design tools such as Altium Designer, OrCAD or Cadence.
• Hardware testing, debugging and troubleshooting experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electronic hardware and PCBA solutions based on project requirements.
• Perform schematic capture, circuit design and component selection for electronic products.
• Work on analog and digital circuit design and related hardware development.
• Support PCB/PCBA design, prototype development, testing and validation.
• Conduct design verification and validation to meet requirements.
• Troubleshoot hardware and PCBA issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Support component selection, BOM review and engineering changes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, manufacturing and quality teams.
• Participate in design reviews and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Support prototype builds, NPI activities and transfer to manufacturing.
• Ensure designs consider manufacturability, reliability and quality.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Electrical / Electronics Engineer (EE) with strong PCBA design experience to support an engineering project in Singapore.

The successful candidate will be involved in electronic hardware and PCBA design, development, testing, troubleshooting and product engineering activities throughout the product development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electronic hardware and PCBA solutions based on product and project requirements.
• Perform schematic capture, circuit design and component selection for electronic products.
• Work on analog and digital circuit design and related hardware development.
• Support PCB/PCBA design, prototype development, testing, debugging and validation.
• Perform design verification and validation to ensure products meet technical and functional requirements.
• Troubleshoot hardware and PCBA-related issues and conduct root-cause analysis.
• Support component selection, BOM review and engineering changes.
• Work closely with cross‑functional engineering, manufacturing, quality and project teams.
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical recommendations for design improvements.
• Support prototype builds, NPI activities and transition of products into manufacturing.
• Ensure designs consider manufacturability, reliability, quality and applicable engineering standards.
• Prepare and maintain relevant engineering documentation, test results and technical reports.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electronic & Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Relevant hands‑on experience in electronics hardware and PCBA design/development.
• Good knowledge of electronic circuit design, schematic capture and component selection.
• Experience with analog and/or digital circuit design.
• Familiarity with PCB design/development tools such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, Cadence or equivalent.
• Hands‑on experience in hardware testing, debugging and troubleshooting.
• Able to read and interpret schematics, technical specifications and engineering documentation.
• Experience supporting prototype builds, product development, NPI or manufacturing environments would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of embedded hardware, microcontrollers, power electronics, high-speed digital design, signal integrity or EMC/EMI would be an advantage.
• Good analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Able to work effectively with cross‑functional engineering and manufacturing teams.

Additional Information

This is an approximately 1-year contract position supporting an engineering project in Singapore.
