A leading company in Singapore is looking for a Drafter cum BIM Modeller specializing in Electrical trade. The candidate will be responsible for developing electrical shop drawings and coordinating BIM models to ensure project compliance with regulatory standards. This role requires proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP and a diploma in a related field, alongside experience in the electrical or M&E industry.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of drafting and BIM modelling experience in the electrical or M&E construction industry.
• Knowledge of Singapore construction codes and standards.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit MEP.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 2D and 3D electrical drawings and models using AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
• Coordinate with other disciplines via BIM tools such as Navisworks.

• Role: Drafter cum BIM Modeller (Electrical Trade)
• Address: Ang Mo Kio Tech 1 [ Few Bus Stop from AMK MRT ]
• 5.5 Days - 44 Hours Per Week
• Basic Salary: $3,500 - $4,500 + Variable Bonus

About the Role

Responsible for developing electrical shop drawings, coordinating BIM models, and ensuring all documentation aligns with project and regulatory standards, plays a key role in the successful delivery of building and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed 2D and 3D electrical drawings and models using AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
• Produce shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built documents for systems such as:
  Lighting & Power
  Single-Line Diagrams (SLD)
  Lightning Protection Systems (LPS)
  Underground Piping
  ELV systems (e.g., CCTV, Card Access, EVC)
• Coordinate with other disciplines (Mechanical, Structural, Architectural) via BIM tools such as Navisworks.
• Attend BIM coordination meetings; identify and resolve clashes in the model.
• Maintain and update BIM models based on design revisions and site conditions.
• Ensure compliance with BCA BIM standards and project-specific requirements.
• Work closely with engineers, project managers, and site teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Maintain accurate documentation and drawing records.

Requirements

• Diploma certification in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of drafting and BIM modelling experience in the electrical or M&E construction industry.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
• Knowledge of Singapore construction codes and standards.
