Job summary

Staffking Pte Ltd is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer for East Singapore. The role covers design authority, coordination with engineers and contractors, and on-site supervision of electrical works. You will plan testing and commissioning for field equipment and prepare required documentation.

Applicants with relevant LTA experience are encouraged. The position is a 5-day work week with office hours, located at East Singapore.

Qualifications

Design Authority responsibilities for SLDs and wiring diagrams.
Coordinate with PEs, LEWs, contractors to align interfaces.
Procurement support evaluating vendor/subcontractor submissions.

Responsibilities

Develop and review single-line diagrams, interconnection drawings, wiring schematics, and cable schedules.
Liaise with Professional Engineers, LEWs, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to synchronize design and installation interfaces.
Evaluate technical specifications and adjudicate vendor/subcontractor submissions to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Monitor on-site electrical works, enforcing drawings, safety protocols, and quality benchmarks.
Plan and coordinate testing and commissioning activities for field equipment and distribution networks.
Prepare method statements, risk assessments, testing procedures, and commissioning close-out reports.
Ensure all milestones are met in line with project schedules and regulatory codes.
