Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics/Automation engineering.
• Hands-on experience in electrical control system design and PLC programming.
• Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams; strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical control systems for automated machinery, including PLCs, HMIs, motion controllers, robotics and servo drives.
• Prepare electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and control panel layouts.
• Perform control system programming, configuration, installation and commissioning.
• Conduct system testing, debugging and troubleshooting.

Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Electrical Controls Engineer to join engineering team. You will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing electrical control systems for automated machinery, working with PLCs, HMIs, motion controllers, robotics and servo drives.

This role offers the opportunity to work on machine automation projects, collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and contribute to the development of reliable and efficient automation solutions.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical control systems for automated machinery, including PLCs, HMIs, motion controllers, robotics and servo drives.
• Prepare electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and control panel layouts, including the selection and sourcing of suitable electrical components.
• Perform control system programming, configuration, installation and commissioning, including I/O configuration, servo and stepper drive setup, and axis tuning.
• Conduct system testing, debugging and troubleshooting to ensure reliable machine performance, proper integration and compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers, software developers and other teams on machine integration, project planning, technical documentation and continuous improvement.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering or a related discipline.
• Knowledge or hands-on experience in electrical control system design, PLC programming, HMIs, motion controllers and servo drives.
• Ability to read and prepare electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and control panel layouts.
• Familiarity with machine commissioning, I/O configuration, motion control, troubleshooting and industrial automation systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
