KURIHARA KOGYO CO., LTD. is seeking a Safety Officer for a greenfield construction site at Tuas Area, Singapore. The role focuses on enforcing safety practices across electrical installation works and coordinating with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure compliance with the WSH Act and MOM regulations.

Responsibilities include leading toolbox talks, conducting daily inspections, and maintaining comprehensive safety documentation and training for workers and subcontractors on a fast-paced site.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in OSH, engineering, or related field.
• WSH Officer registration with MOM is mandatory.
• Minimum 3 years of construction safety experience, preferably with electrical installation projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical hazards, lock-out/tag-out and safe work practices.
• Excellent communication and leadership to engage a diverse workforce.

Responsabilités

• Oversee safety practices across site activities, with focus on electrical installations.
• Conduct daily site inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
• Develop and monitor safety procedures per WSH Act, MOM regulations, and company policies.
• Lead toolbox talks, safety briefings, and training for workers and subcontractors.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports with corrective/preventive actions.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to integrate safety into planning and execution.
• Maintain safety documentation, permits, and audit records.
