Job summary

A leading technology company in Singapore is seeking a qualified candidate to perform evaluation tests and provide technical support in product and design development. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic and at least 2 years of experience. Familiarity with Microcontroller/Microprocessor design is advantageous. Qualifications

• At least 2 years of working experience in product/design & development.
• Familiar with mechanical control interfaces such as SPI, I2C, RS232, USB.
• Self-motivated and able to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluation tests and create test reports.
• Conduct failure analysis and troubleshooting on failed items.
• Provide technical support during development stages.

Job Description:

• Perform evaluation tests according to test plan and make test report for future reference
• Perform failure analysis and troubleshooting on failed items (FA)
• Verify & Select parts from Approved Vendor list
• Comparison of components specification for Value Engineering and second source
• Create and/or update assembly drawings/Bill of Material and parts drawing
• Provide Technical & Documentation support for production sample/prototype build during development stage

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronic
• At least 2 years of working experience in product/design & development work
• Experienced in product/design & development work, Microcontroller/Microprocessor based design, familiar with mechanical control, interface (SPI, I2C, RS232, Parallel, USB and Sata,) will be an added advantage
• Self-motivated and able to meet deadlines
• Willing to perform overtime
• Candidate with no working experience is also welcome to apply
