Job description

Responsibilities

• Configure data ingestion pipeline and configure both prebuilt and custom integrations.
• Perform data parsing, transformation, enrichment using Logstash and/or Elasticsearch ingest pipeline.
• Configure data retention based on user needs.
• Perform general infrastructure health check to ensure the system is performing in best condition as possible.
• Identify data bottlenecks and troubleshoot slowness encountered in data ingestion pipeline and searches.
• Configure user access control.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years working experience as an Elastic technical consultant, architect, software engineer, system administrator, DevOps engineer.
• Strong programming fundamentals with excellent design and coding style.
• Excellent problem analysis and analysis skills, and cross-team communication and coordination skills are preferred.
• Excellent business abstraction and architecture design capabilities, familiar with common design patterns and architectural ideas, good learning habits, understand the latest technology trends in the industry, and can be flexibly implemented in combination with business scenarios.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Elasticsearchtm Platform, application, and system integrations.
• Understanding and passion for open-source technology and proficient in at least one programming language, e.g., Java, Go.
• Hands-on experience building and operating distributed systems, Elasticsearch, Big Data, stream processing, and/or enterprise data integration solutions.
• Experience operating Linux (configure, tune, and troubleshoot both Red Hat and Debian-based distributions).
• Hands-on experience in on-prem systems and/or public/private cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP.
