Our client, a well-established and reputable global trading house, is seeking an experienced Ethanol Trader to drive their ethanol trading activities across the Asia-Pacific region. This role focuses on sourcing opportunities and managing customer relationships.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, source, and execute profitable ethanol trading opportunities in APAC.
  • Manage and expand a portfolio of clients across the region, including fuel blenders, industrial users, and trading counterparts.
  • Leverage existing relationships to grow market share and drive revenue.
  • Monitor market dynamics, pricing trends, and regional regulations to inform trading strategies.
  • Coordinate with logistics, risk management, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in ethanol or relevant commodities trading with APAC market exposure.
  • Proven track record in client acquisition and relationship management.
  • Existing network of ethanol customers or end-users in Asia-Pacific is essential.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to work independently.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of regional languages is advantageous.
