Job summary

PENTA-OCEAN CONSTRUCTION COMPANY LIMITED is seeking an EHS Officer for a full-time role on an assigned project, based in Changi. The position reports to the Project In-charge and Project EHS Leader.

You will adopt EHS management systems, develop and review project-specific EHS plans, conduct risk assessments, lead training for staff and subcontractors, inspect worksites, and record incidents to drive continual safety improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as WSH officer.
• In-depth knowledge of local WSH and Environmental legislation.
• Experience in writing EHS reports and presentations.
• Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of safety management systems is a plus.
• Excellent communication and training delivery skills.
• Bachelor in safety management or related field; certifications in WSH/environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adopt Head Office and IBU EHS Division EHS Management Systems.
• Support the development and review of project specific EHS plans.
• Review policies to ensure compliance with legislation.
• Conduct risk assessments and enforce preventative measures.
• Initiate and organize EHS training for project staff and subcontractors.
• Inspect premises and personnel work to identify non-conformities.
• Record and investigate EHS incidents and prepare reports for management.
