The Sub Regional EHS Manager for APAC is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs across multiple sites within a defined sub-region for APAC. This role ensures compliance with local legislation and company policies, promotes a strong safety culture, and drives continuous improvement in EHS performance.

  1. Ensure compliance with all legislations and EHS regulations
  2. Develop and implement EHS programs and initiatives aligned with corporate and regional strategies
  3. Adapt global EHS programs to meet local regulatory requirements and site-specific needs
  4. Establish and maintain EHS management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001)
  5. Monitor changes in regulations and update programs accordingly
  6. Manage permits and licenses related to environmental and safety aspects
  7. Conduct regular audits and inspections to verify compliance
  8. Develop and implement risk mitigation controls
  9. Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis
  10. Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions
  11. Promote a strong safety culture through training, communication, and engagement activities
  12. Develop and deliver EHS training to employees at all levels
  13. Foster employee involvement activities
  14. Track and analyze EHS performance metrics
  15. Prepare and present regular reports on EHS performance

Your Experience Should Be...

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field

Minimum 7 years of experience in EHS Management with experience managing multiple sites

In-depth knowledge of local EHS regulations

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Willingness to travel within the sub-region

Ability to influence and drive change
