A leading company in the construction sector is seeking a qualified Workplace Safety and Health Officer. This role involves ensuring compliance with safety regulations, developing training programs, and investigating incidents to enhance workplace safety. Ideal candidates will have strong expertise in safety management and be registered with the Ministry of Manpower.
Job Description
- Responsible for all safety aspects of the project job sites, shift duties and ongoing work.
- Develop safety policies, procedures and program to comply with WSH regulations.
- Conduct safety related in-house training for staffs and workers.
- Lead the investigation for accident and dangerous occurrences, compile findings and make recommendations for prevention of recurrences.
- Identify training needs for the company and conduct the relevant safety, health and fire safety training for staff.
- Liase with all relevant stakeholders on safety issues
Job Requirement
- Must be Registered WSHO (Workplace Safety and Health Officer) with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM).
- Familiar with Workplace Safety and Health Act, Risk Management Regulations, and Code of Practices (CPs) issued by MOM/WSHC.
