Job summary

NCS Group is seeking an experienced Senior IT Infrastructure Administrator to design, deploy, and manage enterprise infrastructure across on‑premises, hybrid, and cloud environments in Singapore. • 8+ years hands-on system administration and infrastructure management.
• Strong Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 and Active Directory expertise.
• Proficiency in virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere or Hyper‑V).
• DNS, DHCP, IIS, and file/print services experience.
• Experience designing and implementing backup and disaster recovery solutions.

• Knowledge of patch management and monitoring tools (SCCM, WSUS, or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage enterprise system infrastructure across multiple environments, including on-premises, hybrid cloud, and cloud-native deployments.
• Administer and maintain Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Group Policy, and related infrastructure services.
• Manage virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper‑V) and optimize virtual machine performance and resource allocation.
• Monitor system performance, analyze metrics, and implement optimization strategies to ensure peak operational efficiency.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure business continuity and resilience.
• Implement and manage patch management processes, security updates, and system hardening procedures in compliance with organizational policies.
• Create and maintain PowerShell scripts, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, and automation solutions to streamline routine administrative tasks.
• Troubleshoot complex system issues and provide technical support to resolve infrastructure problems with decisiveness and transparency.
• Collaborate with IT teams, security personnel, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with security policies, industry standards, and best practices.
• Participate in capacity planning, infrastructure upgrades, and technology assessments to support organizational growth and innovation.
• Document system configurations, procedures, architectural decisions, and best practices for knowledge management and team reference.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a collaborative & supportive environment.
• Manage vendor relationships and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance system capabilities and efficiency.

• Experience with IT Service Management (ITIL) frameworks
• Vendor management and technical leadership experience
• Cross‑platform system administration experience (Linux/Unix)
• Network infrastructure and security knowledge
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, VMware Certified Associate, or equivalent
• Experience with incident management and change management processes
