Job summary

NCS is seeking a Data Solution Architect to act as a senior, client-facing technical leader translating government and agency requirements into secure, scalable end-to-end data solutions across cloud and hybrid environments.

You will lead architecture across ingestion, storage, processing, analytics, and reporting, ensuring alignment with standards such as IM8, AIAS, PDPA and agency security. Collaboration with PMs and data engineers is essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in IT and data architecture
• Experience translating government/public sector requirements into secure data solutions
• Excellent stakeholder communication and documentation skills
• Hands-on knowledge of cloud data platforms and analytics tools

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end data solution architecture across ingestion, storage, processing, analytics, and reporting.
• Translate business and policy requirements into architectures aligned with security standards.
• Define blueprints, integration patterns, and non-functional requirements (performance, security, scalability).
• Provide governance, design assurance, and technical decision leadership across delivery teams.
• Present roadmaps and design options to senior stakeholders and drive design sign-offs.

Job Description

As a Data Solution Architect, you will act as a senior, client-facing technical leader responsible for translating complex government and agency requirements into secure, scalable, and compliant end-to-end data solutions across cloud and hybrid environments.

What will you do?

Lead end-to-end data solution architecture across data ingestion, storage, processing, analytics, and reporting within GCC/GCC+ environments.

Translate business and policy requirements into technical architectures aligned with IM8, AIAS, PDPA, and agency security standards.

Define solution blueprints, integration patterns, and non-functional requirements (performance, security, scalability).

Provide architectural governance, design assurance, and technical decision leadership across delivery teams.

Present solution roadmaps and design options to senior government stakeholders and steer designsign-offs.

Work closely with project managers, platform architects, and data engineering teams to ensure delivery alignment.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess:

10+ years in IT, with strong experience in data architecture and solution design.

Hands-on knowledge of cloud data platforms (AWS/Azure GCC), RDBMS, data warehouses, and analytics platforms.

Strong understanding of public sector delivery, procurement constraints, and compliance requirements.

Excellent stakeholder communication and documentation skills.
