Job Description:

This is a full-time role for a Technical Manager located at Toh Guan Road. Our client provides comprehensive security solutions and services, including alarm monitoring, access control, and CCTV surveillance.

• Lead, train, and manage a team of technical professionals (project and system engineers) to provide project management, system commissioning, technical support, and pre-sales services to meet customer requirements and achieve company objectives.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Allocate tasks and responsibilities effectively among team members based on their skills and expertise.
• Establish clear communication channels within the team, ensuring team members are informed about project updates, organizational changes, and relevant information.
• Conduct performance evaluations, set goals, and provide feedback to enhance team members' performance and career development.
• Collaborate with other departments such as Sales, Operations, Service, IT, Finance, and Admin to ensure alignment and coordination of technical activities with overall business objectives.
• Evaluate new products/systems for potential inclusion in new product and service packages for customer promotion.
• Assist the Sales Department in pre-sales and tender bidding to secure new projects.
• Manage purchasing of equipment, inventory, and prepare project budgets and proposals for capital expenditure and investments.
• Monitor subcontractor performance to meet customer expectations, enforcing Sub-contractor Control Procedures as per ISO9002.
• Ensure systems and processes comply with workplace safety and health regulations.
• Ensure customer quality specifications are consistently met.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Engineering (preferably Electronics) or equivalent.
• At least 5-8 years of relevant experience in the security industry, managing a team of 5 or more engineers.
