The Assistant Business Unit Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, ensuring financial discipline, and supporting business growth through effective process improvements. This role demands a strategic thinker with strong leadership capabilities and an ability to work cross-functionally to enhance overall business unit performance. The role contributes significantly to cost reduction, revenue forecasting, and operational compliance.
Be Part of Our Success
1. Process Improvement & Efficiency
Act as the BU Continuous Improvement (CI) Champion.
Identify inefficiencies within existing processes and implement optimizations to improve productivity and reduce costs.
Lead and manage continuous improvement (CI) initiatives and projects.
Ensure BU CI targets are achieved consistently.
2. Budgeting & Financial Management
Develop accurate forecasts for business unit revenues in alignment with strategic goals.
Track and report key financial indicators including revenue, EBIT, Unbilled D-Report, AR aging, warranty provisions, and cost provisions.
Ensure timely analysis and reporting of BU financial performance to aid decision-making.
3. Operations & General Administration
Oversee daily workflows and administrative functions of the business unit.
Resolve operational challenges promptly to avoid disruptions.
Monitor and report on operational performance metrics.
Manage and support BU administrators ensuring smooth internal operations.
Ensure full compliance with company policies including risk management, safety, and security standards.
Qualities We Value
Knowledge in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance and Operations Management or equivalent
Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in operations management, financial planning, or continuous improvement roles.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive change and influence cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated experience in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
Proficient in financial reporting and forecasting tools.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
High level of integrity and attention to detail.
