Our client, a prestigious retail bank, is recruiting a senior manager to partner with their global leadership team across retail products and segments, primarily mortgages and deposits. Focusing on strategy, business planning, and analysis, this role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact, generate ideas, and promote change. It is a collaborative finance role that requires engagement and influence at all levels.

Responsibilities:

  1. Partner in implementing product strategy while advising on financial performance and profitability.
  2. Conduct in-depth analysis of client segmentation, make recommendations, and identify new opportunities to increase and maximize revenue.
  3. Formulate new strategies with product partners.
  4. Collaborate with business and finance teams to evaluate financial performance.
  5. Assist senior management in producing monthly and annual presentation packages to deliver insights on business performance.
  6. Compile and analyze monthly reports, including business metrics, results, and P&L variances against projections.

Prerequisites for the role:

  1. 12+ years of post-qualified experience within a professional services company with strong financial planning and analysis.
  2. A passion for creative problem-solving, comfort challenging the status quo, and exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  3. In-depth understanding of deposits, mortgages, and balance sheet products.
  4. Previous experience working for a fintech or high-growth startup is highly regarded.
  5. Qualified accountant preferred—CPA, ACCA, CA.
