Sales Specialist - Real Time Data Solutions

Position Summary

This is an exciting, newly created position for a senior salesperson to join a growing cross-regional APAC team! The role focuses on leading and structuring sales of data solutions across the financial sector and other industries. We target a wide range of personas who require data, analytics, and infrastructure for their operations.

As a "hunter" in pre-sales and pursuit activities, you will work alongside Account Managers to focus on all sales (new, cross-sells, up-sells) for Data & Feeds Solutions within the territory, targeting both existing and new customers.

This role is solely about gross sales, with potential territory expansion based on performance, and involves regular travel around the region. Extensive training and support will be provided, working closely with account managers, solution consultants, and customer success managers to proactively drive revenue growth.

Role Responsibilities
  1. Cover the designated market and segment for our data solutions.
  2. Creatively structure, seek, and close deals.

  5. Deliver customer demonstrations of our data science-related products.
Qualifications and Experience Required
  1. Deep understanding of financial markets and their data requirements.
  2. While product knowledge is a plus, passion and proven selling skills are more important.
  3. Strong sales closing skills.
  4. Excellent presentation skills (verbal & written).
  5. Experience in driving sales strategies.
  6. 5+ years of industry, sales, or market experience.
  7. Proven track record in a quota-bearing sales environment.
