Job description

We are seeking for proactive and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join the team.

Responsibilities:

• In charge of the progress of subcontractors' work in accordance with drawings, method statements, materials, and samples.

• Liaise with relevant authorities, subcontractors, or clients regarding shop drawings, materials, and samples.

• Review and align fire protection design drawings for adherence to design specifications and guidelines, covering systems such as sprinklers, fire alarms, hose reels, wet/dry risers, fire hydrants, and fireman intercoms.

• Able to identify discrepancies among M&E, structural, ID, architectural, and client provisions.

• Task and oversee supervisors to ensure the work is completed in accordance with standards and SOPs.

• Organize and manage the testing and commissioning of fire protection systems.

• Follow up on site inspections and authority checks and address any defects in the fire protection work.

• Monitor the maintenance of fire protection systems during the Defects Liability Period (DLP).

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of related experience in fire protection.

• Able to work independently and possess good interpersonal skills.

• Experienced candidates will be considered for the role of a Project Manager.
