Job description

Vita Singapore is currently searching for an experienced QAQC Engineer to join the Project Management & Construction team responsible for the build and delivery of a range of projects.

Vita Partners is the Asia-Pacific’s largest pan-regional pure-play life science, innovation and R&D real estate platform. The platform focuses on investing, acquiring, developing, constructing, managing, and operating real estate projects in fast-growing life sciences, innovation and R&D real estate markets in Asia-Pacific. The company operates within two main segments – a high-barrier-to-entry life sciences project construction management business and a specialized investment management business. Since the 2000s, the project construction management business has worked on over 200 projects in Asia-Pacific for more than 100 blue-chip life sciences and pharmaceutical companies, with many repeat clients.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to;

Key Accountabilities

  • Conducts audit to the quality management system and plans of Subcontractors / Consultants.
  • Develops PQP and liaise with the Client to incorporate the PQP requirements.
  • Oversees the implementation project management system / PQP at the project and project QLASSIC.
  • Implement the QMS at the project and continually improve its effectiveness.
  • Ensure quality documentation (ie MS, Inspection and Test Plans, checklist) in-place and conducts surveillance on site for Quality of work.
  • Conducts QA Induction, quality training and maintain training records.
  • Monitors submission status and maintain registers in liaison with the Document Controller.
  • Administration of Quality Observations and Non-Conformity reports.
  • Carry out inspections on site and at fabrication yards to ensure compliance to specifications.

Requirement

  • Recognized Degree / Diploma in Process, Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Registered CSWIP 3.1/ ASNT qualifications
  • 5-8 years’ experience in a field engineering position
  • Experience in a similar role in building/ refinery/ petrochemical/ process / pharmaceutical plant construction would be a distinct advantage
  • CONQUAS knowledge essential
