Job description

Key Job Accountabilities:

  1. Conduct daily routine work and data logging for all facility equipment such as CDA, Electrical LT panel, water systems, and monitor equipment status for mechanical and electrical systems.
  2. Ensure the completion of preventive maintenance according to schedules assigned by the Engineer.
  3. Supervise and monitor maintenance service contractors, ensuring work procedures align with the scope of work.
  4. Assist vendors with facility preventive maintenance tasks, such as system switchovers for chillers, cooling towers, compressors, dryers, etc.
  5. Implement and oversee the Facilities alarm monitoring plan.
  6. Supervise contractors' work and assist with repair work as needed.
  7. Assist in Clean-room maintenance and respond to production breakdown calls.
  8. Contribute ideas for continuous improvement in service quality, energy and water conservation, and equipment reliability.
  9. Oversee new construction and installation projects for production and office expansion, actively participating in design and specification finalization.
  10. Coordinate lighting replacements in cleanrooms and administrative areas.
  11. Conduct inspections, checks, and minor repairs on building-related issues such as partitions, floor tiles, sliding doors, etc.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

  1. Diploma or Higher Nitec/Nitec in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
  2. Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.
  3. Experience with equipment such as package units, chillers, AHUs, FCUs, BAS, BMS, pumps, cooling towers, etc.
  4. Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
