A leading provider of integrated security solutions in Singapore is seeking a Technical Manager. The role involves leading a team of engineers, managing projects, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Technical Manager
Stable career with career advancement opportunities
Basic – Up till $6.5K basic + variable bonus + AWS
Transport claim: mileage claim capped at $800/mth (excluding ERP and parking)
Mon – Fri, 8.30am to 5.30pm
Teammates: 21-22 staff (project engineers and system technician)

The Responsibilities
Lead, train, and manage a team of technical professionals (project and system engineers) to provide Project Management, System commissioning, technical support, and Pre-sales to satisfy customer’s requirement and achieve company’s objective.
Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Effectively allocate tasks and responsibilities among team members based on their skills and expertise.
Establish clear communication channels within the team. Ensure that team members are kept informed about project updates, organization changes, and any other relevant information.
Conduct performance evaluations, set goals and provide feedback to team member to enhance their performance and career development.
Collaborate with other departments, such as Sales, Operations, Service, IT, Finance & Admin to ensure alignment and coordination of technical activities with overall business objectives.
Evaluate new products/system to assess its suitability to be included in the new product and service packages for promotion to customers.
Assist Sales Dept in the Pre-sales and tender bidding to secure new jobs.
Manage purchasing of equipment and company’s equipment and inventory
Preparation of project budgets and proposals for capital expenditure and investments in equipment, systems, or other assets and resources.
Monitor performance of Sub-contractors to meet customers’ expectations with enforcement of Sub-contractor Control Procedure stipulated in ISO9002 procedure.
Ensure systems and processes comply with workplace safety and health regulatory requirements.
Ensure that customer quality specifications are constantly met.
The Requirements
Degree in Engineering (Preferably Electronics) or equivalent.
5-8 years of relevant working experience in Security Industry, managing a group of 5 or more engineers.
Excellent planning and organization, interpersonal and communication, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent project management skills
Able to work independently and make good decisions
