Job description

You will be responsible for the provision of pharmaceutical care at our outpatient pharmacy. Your duties include counselling and dispensing medication, teaching and providing information on medication to patients, their caregivers, and other healthcare workers, as well as assisting them in medication administration. You will also need to identify, resolve, and prevent medication-related problems and ensure the accurate and timely distribution of pharmaceutical items. Additionally, you will participate in corporate quality improvement projects.

Requirements:

  1. Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent, recognized by the Singapore Pharmacy Board for registration.
  2. Relevant experience in a hospital setting is advantageous but not essential, as on-the-job training will be provided.
  3. Candidates with experience may be appointed at a senior level.
  4. Proof of vaccination or immunity for:
    1. Measles (or Mumps, Measles, and Rubella) vaccination or serological evidence of measles immunity;
    2. Diphtheria (Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis) vaccination taken within the past 10 years, as required for healthcare workers under the Healthcare Services Act, effective from 3 January 2022. Applicants without these vaccinations are welcome to apply if they undertake to complete the vaccination(s) before work commencement upon successful interview and employment offer.
  5. Only applicants fully vaccinated against Covid-19 (according to MOH’s definitions) will be considered due to exposure risk.
