Job description

We are looking for a well-rounded Finance Ops Executive who is comfortable working in a fast-paced and results-oriented environment. You will work closely with the Finance and Operations Team to oversee budgeting, accounting, financial forecasting, and analysis of financial data. To excel in this role, you should be able to learn quickly, work independently, and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities
  1. Assist in operational budgeting, forecasting, accounting, financial planning, cash flow analysis, and tax compliance
  2. Support senior leadership in making informed decisions that impact the company's strategic goals and long-term profitability
  3. Monitor accounts payable and receivable
  4. Reconcile monthly bank statements
  5. Work with accountants and auditors to ensure successful financial audits
  6. Provide guidance in developing financial plans and policies
  7. Maintain and organize records of the company’s financial and accounting documents
  8. Support financial and accounting activities, e.g., verification of employees’ claim submissions, payroll, GIRO setup, GST filing, etc.
  9. Provide administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the company
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in Finance, Finance Ops, or Accounting
  • Diploma/Certificate in Business Administration, Accounting, Payroll, or related fields, with excellent academic credentials and/or personal achievements
  • Meticulous and detail-oriented self-starter with excellent documentation skills
  • Well-versed in governmental regulations
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Hands-on with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Team player with great adaptability
  • Experience in start-up and/or tech companies is a plus
