Job description

Job Description
  • Drives lean manufacturing and VSM deployment. Upskills new digital roles to support DL's transformation in manufacturing operations.
  • Sustains production operation scheduling, capacity planning/simulation, kanban management, and monthly build/ship planning for both instruments and support parts.
  • Manages end-to-end supply chain planning, including coordination of production timing and quantities, and manages forecasts and strategies for contract manufacturers (CM) and original design manufacturers (ODM), optimizing customer delivery and inventory levels.
  • Oversees demand planning by integrating customer demand with production capabilities.
  • Contributes to developing strategies for manufacturing, distribution, supply chain, product generation, and order fulfillment to enhance customer satisfaction, market share, revenue, and return on assets.
  • Manages production planning processes aligned with these strategies and global business requirements.
  • Coordinates new product introductions (NPI), ensuring materials, labor, and testing capacity meet volume production needs.
  • Handles supply chain programs and processes, focusing on key metrics such as gross margin, revenue, inventory levels, and on-time delivery.
  • Develops inventory management processes and analytical tools to optimize inventory levels against forecasts, consumption rates, product mix, and financial targets.
  • Drives continuous improvement in supply chain strategies.
Qualifications
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant manufacturing/production experience, including supervisory roles.
  • Experience in leading teams, projects, or programs, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in SAP system usage.

This is a full-time position with a weekly schedule.
