The Opportunity

EY Consulting is a dynamic, high-growth area with significant potential. We are recruiting for a Senior Manager / Manager to join our team, which offers variety, challenge, responsibility, and leadership development opportunities. Our Consulting team specializes in areas such as Risk, Technology Consulting, or IT Risk & Assurance. Our Technology Consulting team focuses on enhancing operational efficiency and security while reducing costs and managing risks.

We assist clients by delivering assessments, transformations, and process improvements in finance, supply chain, IT Advisory, customer, organizational change, strategic direction, and program management. EY has established a national Center of Excellence focusing on Enterprise Intelligence, Risk Transformation, IT Risk, and Enabling Technologies, which includes ERP systems like SAP and Oracle. Our client base primarily includes Fortune 1000 companies across various industries including Manufacturing, Pharma, Energy, Transportation, Telecommunications, Entertainment, Oil & Gas, and Retail.

Your Key Responsibilities
  1. Technical Expertise:
    • Develop and maintain SAP HR ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms.
    • Debug and troubleshoot ABAP programs.
    • Implement SAP HR modules such as PA, OM, Time Management, Payroll.
    • Conduct data migration activities using LSMW, BDC, etc.
  2. Functional Expertise:
    • Analyze business requirements and configure SAP HR modules accordingly.
    • Prepare functional specifications and support testing phases.
  3. Consulting Skills:
    • Collaborate with clients to understand and resolve their business needs.
    • Participate in project planning, execution, and documentation.
    • Provide training and support to end-users.
  4. Collaboration:
    • Work with cross-functional teams, including other SAP modules.
    • Coordinate with offshore and onshore teams for project delivery.
    • Maintain effective communication with stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Human Resources, or related field.
  • 8-10 years of SAP HR ABAP development and configuration experience.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP HR modules and integration points.
  • Proficiency in ABAP programming, including Object-Oriented ABAP.
  • Experience with SAP HCM processes and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • SAP HR or ABAP certification is advantageous.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors or cloud HR solutions.
  • Knowledge of SAP Fiori, UI5, and S/4HANA HR processes.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP).
