Job Description

You will be part of the Group Operational Risk Management (GORM) Team supporting the delivery of BCM Programme activities, with a primary focus on the BCM System Replacement Project. The successful candidate will facilitate communication, coordinate BCM business requirements, and oversee system design, implementation, and testing. This includes tracking issues and resolutions, and assisting in preparing training materials or user guides as needed.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Handle claims notification and registration for medical claims within the required turnaround time, ensuring claims are accurately registered in the system.
  2. Prepare documents, including merging and splitting documents within a single submission.
  3. Screen medical bills to verify policy information and status.
  4. Liaise with and follow up with claimants, policyholders, and agents on outstanding requirements, if any.
  5. Build collaborative relationships and ensure claims registration is well managed for both internal and external stakeholders (e.g., policyholders, distribution servicing representatives) to achieve claims business objectives.
  6. Take accountability for considering business and regulatory compliance risks and implementing appropriate mitigation steps.
  7. Maintain awareness of industry trends related to regulatory compliance, emerging threats, and technologies to understand risks and better safeguard the company.
  8. Highlight potential concerns or risks and proactively share best risk management practices.
  9. Participate in process improvement projects, initiatives, or system enhancements, including establishing claims best practices.
  10. Perform any other ad-hoc assignments as directed by the supervisor.
