Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support the preparation of financial statements, handle routine accounting tasks, and liaise with clients to ensure accurate and timely delivery of services. You’ll work closely with the senior accountant and directors to manage a portfolio of client companies.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle day-to-day bookkeeping and full set of accounts for client companies
Prepare unaudited financial statements in accordance with Singapore FRS
Assist in GST reporting, payroll processing, and corporate tax filing
Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes
Communicate with clients professionally to gather information and provide updates
Support annual return filings and liaise with ACRA/IRAS when needed
Perform bank reconciliations, AP/AR tracking, and month-end closing activities
Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Accountancy or equivalent (LCCI, ACCA, etc.)
1–2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a CSP/accounting firm
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, or similar)
Strong attention to detail and good time management skills
Able to communicate clearly with clients and team members
Familiarity with Singapore regulatory requirements is a strong plus
