Job description

Job Responsibilities
  1. Mechanical & piping design, implementation, design phases, installation, start-up, and execution.
  2. Perform design calculations, prepare MTOs, piping material specifications, layouts, and handle procurement activities including enquiry specifications, quote reviews, TR preparation, and vendor drawing reviews.
  3. Utilize 3D software packages such as PDS/PDMS for design modeling.
  4. Manage project schedule, basic design data, client specifications, standard drawings, existing drawings, and plot plans.
  5. Plan and organize piping engineering activities and manpower requirements.
  6. Assist in developing piping engineering and design schedules and execution plans within the approved budget.
  7. Coordinate piping design and engineering activities with the team, and prepare piping information lists, layouts, and documentation following standard procedures.
  8. Prepare piping general specifications, including piping arrangement and support standards.
  9. Interpret stress and vibration analysis results, providing recommendations for resolution methods.
  10. Review all work such as piping layouts, 3D models, MTOs, BQ, and other project deliverables for compliance with standards, codes, and contract requirements.
  11. Provide field engineering support for piping installation and testing at construction sites.
  12. Support engineering activities during the construction phase of the project.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in piping design, stress evaluation, production, 3D model review, and construction support.
