Job Summary:

The Finance Assistant (Temp) will support the necessary financial operations of the company from the period of June 2025 to December 2025. The main role is to ensure accuracy and timely processing of financial transactions, maintaining financial records, and providing support for the finance team through data entry. While data entry may seem like a straightforward task, it is critical that the data entered is accurate and up-to-date, as errors can have significant consequences for a company's finances.

Reporting to the Finance Manager(s), he/she will

Responsibilities:

  • Support the process financial transactions such as invoices, receipts, and payments.
  • Record financial data into computer systems or databases.
  • Support and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Create and maintain financial spreadsheets and reports, as required.
  • Support other financial functions within the finance team, as required.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects or tasks, as required.

Requirements:

  • Preferred Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience in a finance admin role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Knowledge of financial software and tools (e.g. Microsoft Business Central) is a plus.
