Job description

EVe Charging Pte Ltd is Singapore’s leading EV charging solutions provider, a wholly owned subsidiary of LTA tasked with managing EV charging point (EVCP) deployment for HDB carparks and undertaking supporting electrical infrastructure upgrades. With the opportunity to deal with cross-cutting issues from both whole-of-government and private sector stakeholders, the incumbent will gain valuable experience involving in the installation of EVCPs, supporting efforts to reduce land transport emissions in Singapore.

Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for expanding business coverage, connections, and volumes. He/She will oversee the strategic direction and growth of EVe’s planning, marketing, new business development, and innovative solutions to increase revenue and reduce costs. The role involves utilizing data and tools to ensure the scaling of EVCPs and infrastructure upgrades is done in a timely, effective, and efficient manner to meet public demand.

Scope of Work
  1. Business Development
    • Identify and research potential clients for EV charger deployment.
    • Develop and refine business strategies, proposals, business models, partnerships, and pricing strategies.
    • Arrange meetings with prospective clients, support negotiations, and deliver pitches and proposals.
    • Conduct site visits and address commercial and technical queries from clients.
    • Design and implement tendering approaches and processes for various business models.
    • Prepare and review tender documents, contracts, and agreements to support partnerships.
  2. Horizon Scanning & Partner Engagement
    • Research market and landscape trends related to EV charging.
    • Manage relationships with business stakeholders.
    • Engage and partner with strategic stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in any field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in business development.
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and financial skills.
  • Sound business judgment and critical thinking abilities.
  • Proactive, with a fresh perspective and a can-do attitude.
  • Excellent written, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines effectively.
  • Understanding of technical/operational aspects of EV Charger deployment is a bonus.
