DESIGNATION: Audience & Content Strategy Manager, Commerce

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking a dynamic Audience and Content Strategy Manager to lead the development and execution of commerce-driven content integrations across Mediacorp programming. This role sits at the intersection of content, commerce, and innovation, focusing on creating shoppable moments within entertainment experiences. You will work closely with production teams, commercial teams, and commerce platforms to seamlessly weave product placements with interactive shopping experiences, driving audience engagement and revenue growth.

Responsibilities:

  1. Content & Commerce Strategy: Develop and execute a content commerce strategy that enhances TV, Radio, and Digital programming with shoppable integrations, making it easy for viewers to discover and purchase featured products.
  2. Commissioning & Development: Identify and commission original commerce-driven content and shopping opportunities within entertainment formats across Mediacorp platforms. Work closely with a variety of production and creative teams to develop the formats.
  3. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Programming, Content, Commercial teams, brands, and e-commerce platforms to craft engaging, native shopping experiences that enhance storytelling without disrupting viewer engagement.
  4. Technology & Innovation: Partner with technology providers to implement shoppable video tools, QR codes, social commerce, and live shopping experiences.
  5. Performance & Optimization: Monitor, analyze, and optimize shoppable content performance using audience engagement data, conversion rates, and sales metrics to refine strategies.
  6. Rights & Compliance: Navigate licensing agreements, advertising regulations, and brand partnership guidelines to ensure all integrations align with legal and ethical standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in content commissioning, branded content, or commerce-driven storytelling, ideally within TV, digital media, or streaming platforms.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce trends, retail partnerships, and interactive shopping experiences in media.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing brand integrations, sponsorship deals, or product placement partnerships.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams (creative, production, commercial, marketing, and tech teams).
  • Familiarity with shoppable video, live commerce, and interactive content innovations.
  • Strong negotiation, budgeting, and project management skills.
