About the Department

The Planning & Performance team sits within the Retail & Channels ‘Partner, Transform & Operate’ function in Group Technology & Operations (GTO). 
We provide a range of services to ensure the function performs optimally and effectively, and in alignment with the priorities and strategic goals.
Working with senior leaders in the function and key partners in the supporting functions, the Planning & Performance team aims to drive efficiency & effectiveness across the function, quality execution of portfolio management activities, and structure & align processes regionally.
 

Job Responsibilities

  • Understand the priorities and strategic goals, and progress the team towards these.
  • Collaborate with variety of stakeholders within the function and support units (HR, Finance, COO etc) in achieving the objectives.
  • Support the function’s leadership in Business Management, including management reporting, resource & financial analysis, performance analysis and communications.
  • Support various management and governance forums & workshops.
  • Drive and support Special Initiatives.
  • Advance regional process efficiency & optimization.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree, with demonstrated working experience in a similar role & seniority in Financial Services.
  • Experience in Tech Projects Portfolio Management, Risk Management & Financial Management.
  • Solid organizational skills including a methodical approach to planning & process, attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent skills in Excel (analysis & modelling), PowerPoint and SharePoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze & synthesis data, packaging insights into relevant & impactful narratives.
  • Able to produce structured and effective presentations.
  • Lateral thinker, able to drive quality outcomes in ambiguous settings.
  • Able to handle multiple priorities, and deliver with quality under tight timeframes.
  • Highly self-motivated, autonomous & pro-active, and a collaborator with flexibility to take on special initiatives that may arise.
  • Comfortable with engaging senior management across different functions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated experience presenting to a senior management audience.
