A leading company in the gas industry is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive sales growth and develop tailored gas solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in LPG and industrial gas systems, excellent communication skills, and a customer-oriented approach. Responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, preparing technical presentations, and collaborating with project teams to ensure successful execution of projects.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Engineer with a strong technical background in LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas), town gas and industrial gas systems.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth by identifying new business opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and offering tailored gas solutions based on customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and develop new business opportunities within the LPG and industrial gas market segments (e.g., commercial, industrial, and domestic sectors).
Prepare and deliver technical presentations and proposals that explain products or services to customers and prospective clients.
Conduct site surveys and technical assessments to determine customer needs and system requirements.
Design and recommend appropriate LPG/gas solutions including storage, piping, metering, and distribution systems.
Collaborate with the engineering and project teams to ensure smooth execution of projects.
Provide technical support and training to clients, distributors, and internal sales teams.
Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet or exceed targets.
Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulations, and safety standards.
Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis for management review.
Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in a technical sales role, preferably in the gas industry.
Proven knowledge of gas industry, and safety standards.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and customer-oriented approach.
Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
